When I come back to Michigan, I'll be in need of a part-time job to coordinate with my schedule at MSU. I will be back in the state (hopefully) May 2012, and would like to scope out some possibilities so that I'm not stranded when I get back.
I have adequate livestock experience with nearly every species, and am very willing to learn. I will probably be living in Webberville, Mason, or somewhere in between. Please contact me if you'll be in need of a farmhand!
Thanks!

are you willing to be a relief milker for goats/sheep or cattle? I had one heck of a time finding a person when we went on vacation. do you FARM sit. this is what we really wanted was someone to stay at the house, let dogs out ect. I dont need anyone now, but others may, and if something happens, god forbid, its nice to have information on a person to call. Tiffany

I would definately be available as a farm sitter and/or relief milker! I hadn't thought of that, I should have, but I would be around and qualified.

this is something that could be in demand for sure. do you know how to hand milk or machine milk or both. can you do goats or sheep? If I find anyone in need, I will pass on your information.

I know how to hand milk and machine milk. I've never milked a sheep but I'd certainly be willing to give it a shot, I haven't milked any goats much more than a squirt a few times at fair but I know how it works.
Thanks!
